Supplemental Movie EV11. Intercellular interactions between passing hemocytes trigger nuclear deformation and Myosin II activity. Two hemocytes (Myosin II in cyan, nucleus in yellow, Srp>red-stinger / SqhAX3 ; sqh-Sqh-GFP) passing each other in a 75h APF vessel. Whilst one hemocyte, with a large nucleus, remains stationary and does not display Myosin II punctae, the hemocyte undergoing nuclear deformation develops distinct Myosin II localisation anterior to, around and posterior to the nucleus, in concert with nuclear deformation. The images were acquired every 20 seconds. Scalebar is 5 m.
